21 Savage isn't from Atlanta?

In the past week 21 Savage, a very popular rapper has been attained by ICE and was discovered to be residing in the United States illegally. He was put into custody on Super Bowl Sunday, February 3rd, 2019. This sent a shock to all fans, and trended over various social media platforms.

Within the past few years 21 Savage has become a very popular rapper with a very big fan base who has albums of his own and is featured in many other artists songs. Between 2016 - 2017 he released Savage Mode, Issa Album, and Without Warning. In 2018 he released I Am > I Was. 

Savage, who's real name is Sha'yaa Bin Abraham-Joseph claimed to be a resident of Atlanta since 2005 when he came to the United States illegally from the U.K. He came to the U.S with a non-immigration visa and failed to leave after his visa was up. All along all of Savage's fan's thought he was a Atlanta native.

After nine days 21 Savage was released on bond. Savage's reputation and carer will all depend on a deportation hearing that will happen on a later date. His team of attorneys released this statement the day he was released: "For the past 9 long days, we, on behalf of She’yaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, known to the world as 21 Savage, have been speaking with ICE to both clarify his actual legal standing, his eligibility for bond, and provide evidence of his extraordinary contributions to his community and society," Because he was behind bars for nine days after being arrested 21 Savage was unable to attend and preform at the Grammys.
