21 Savage isn't from Atlanta?

In the past week 21 Savage, a very popular rapper has been attained by ICE and was discovered to be residing in the United States illegally. He was put into custody on Super Bowl Sunday, February 3rd, 2019. This sent a shock to all fans, and trended over various social media platforms.

Within the past few years 21 Savage has become a very popular rapper with a very big fan base who has albums of his own and is featured in many other artists songs. Between 2016 - 2017 he released Savage Mode, Issa Album, and Without Warning. In 2018 he released I Am > I Was. 

Savage, who's real name is Sha'yaa Bin Abraham-Joseph claimed to be a resident of Atlanta since 2005 when he came to the United States illegally from the U.K. He came to the U.S with a non-immigration visa and failed to leave after his visa was up. All along all of Savage's fan's thought he was a Atlanta native.

After nine days 21 Savage was released on bond. Savage's reputation and carer will all depend on a deportation hearing that will happen on a later date. His team of attorneys released this statement the day he was released: "For the past 9 long days, we, on behalf of She’yaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, known to the world as 21 Savage, have been speaking with ICE to both clarify his actual legal standing, his eligibility for bond, and provide evidence of his extraordinary contributions to his community and society," Because he was behind bars for nine days after being arrested 21 Savage was unable to attend and preform at the Grammys.

On April 10, 2019 around 10:20 a.m a gas leak turned into a  deadly gas explosion in my hometown, Durham North Carolina. When I was sitting in class at High Point University, I got a text from my bother who is a police officer, with the link to a live feed. I was stunned and scared with what I was watching on the news. I watched the live stream through my entire class and was texting all of my friends that were in Durham making sure they were safe.  The location where the explosion occurred was in Downtown Durham, a block down from my place of work. How Laws Are Made

In my Media Law and Literacy class, we watched a 25 minute video, separated into two parts on the Supreme Court, and how laws are created. The video included basic information on how laws are are made, and also included interviews with Supreme Court Justices. The current Justices have over 200 years of experience that they are able to use as a resource in making the right decisions when voting on future laws in America. All of the Justices respect each other, and shake hands before sitting down with one another. Though they sometimes disagree on the future of our country, they share a common ground of wanting to create better laws for America. It is a huge honor to be appointed by a President to serve on the Supreme Court. It is the job of the current or upcoming President to appoint, or nominate a new person to serve on the court if their is an opening due to one member retiring or leaving the seat. During my Media Law and Literacy class, we were split into groups and tasked to give a presentation on different topics. I found the group that presented on the topic of Awareness to be incredibly informative, and interesting. The topics they covered in their Power Point were propaganda, disinformation, Smith-Mundt Act, total information awareness, false flag, and five eyes. Some of these topics I was familiar with, and some were new information to me. Propaganda: Propaganda is biased information to publicize a political cause or point of view. All advertisements that are being used to promote something are considered to be propaganda. There are a few different types of propaganda. There is bandwagon, testimonial, transfer, repetition, and emotional words. Bandwagon persuades people to do one thing or another because many other people are doing it.
